Sellsius Top 12 Women Real Estate Bloggers

Sellsius Top 12 Women Real Estate BloggersI am privileged and honored to have been included in such a lofty group of talented real estate bloggers.  It was an absolute pleasure first meeting the Sellsius boys, Joe and Rudy back in April, at the Laguna Beach get together, and then again during their BLOG TOURS USA travels down at the lovely Del Mar Race Track.  It seems very strange getting together with a large group of people who have never met before yet are as close as any group of co-workers, but that is how it is in the real estate blogging community.  We have all become a large, nationwide family.

I am thrilled to have discovered blogging as a way to communicate directly with todays consumer.  Finding my voice has been one of the most liberating experiences in my life.

I would like to thank the Active Rain Community without whom this would never have been possible.  Last but not least I would like to thank my friend and mentor Mary McKnight of Rsspieces who taught me most of what I know.  Thank you, from the bottom of my lil pink heart!

It is my honor to present to you the Top 12 Women Real Estate Bloggers of 2007:

Thank you Rudy and Joe, You guys totally ROCK!

Labor Day - Rosie the Riveter - A Moment of Remembrance and Thanks

Rosie the Riveter

A Cultural Icon

RosieTheRiveterWeCanDoItPoster.JPGRosie the Riveter is a cultural icon of the United States, representing the six million women who worked in the manufacturing plants that produced munitions and material during World War II. These women took the places of the male workers who were absent fighting in the Pacific and European theaters. The character is now considered a feminist icon in the US, and a herald of women's economic power to come. Rosie and her slogan were featured on newspapers, magazines and posters

A Moment of Remembrance and Thanks

;

When I sit back and think about the world it amazes me.  Civilization has been here for millions of years yet here we are living in a world where 150 years ago there were no cars, planes or any of the wonderful toys that we so take for granted today.  Heck I don't think there were computers 50 years ago.

When I think of all the advances that mankind has made it blows my mind.  Each and every one of us plays a part in it in our own way.

These women made a massive contribution to mankind, they deserve to be remembered forever.

Long Beach California Retirement Communities

LONG BEACH REAL ESTATE

Long Beach California Retirement Communities

Long Beach California Retirement CommunitiesDid you know that the City of Long Beach does not have any Retirement Communities for active seniors?  Seal Beach,Huntington Beach and Manhattan Beach are all close by and have many, like Leisureworld

What is a Long Beach Baby Boomer supposed to do?  Leave Long Beach?  Why?  Many of our senior citizens have spent most or all of their lives in their Long Beach homes, contributing to our communities in Long Beach.  Why should they spend their golden years in a strange place?  Why have we not accomodated them?

What is wrong with Long Beach?  We are re-developing Downtown Long Beach like crazy, Section 8 and low income housing are a priority for the city, why are our active seniors and the baby boomers housing needs being ignored here?

Anybody from the City of Long Beach can chime in here, have your say in the comments.  Better yet, contact your local politician's and ask them Wazzzzzzzup with that?

How convenient, it can be stored in a drawer.
It's about time somebody designed a small and sleekly designed toaster.  I never liked the sight of toasters and toaster ovens on countertops.

ROLLERTOASTER awarded red dot design award in 2006.

Pop 4 AA or AAA rechargable batteries in the USB Battery Charger, plug in to your desktop or laptop computer, and wait for a few short hours, and you have enough juice to run your digital camera, MP3 player, or R/C Helicopter. Sweet!

The USB Battery Charger comes in black, four inches square and 1 inch high, with a translucent cover. It charges 4 AA or 4 AAA rechargable batteries (or 2 of each) in 4 hours. We cannot stress enough how important it is to NOT try and recharge alkaline batteries as some have been known to explode rather unpleasantly.

Diamond_Studded_Saucepan.jpgFissler, the leader on the German market for premium cookware, is setting new standards of luxury with a unique product: a pot adorned with gold and diamonds from Fissler.

The handles on the lid and sides as well as the name logo are made from almost one kilogram of solid gold (750/yellow gold) and are studded with more than 200 diamonds (TWSI) of varying sizes.

The breathtaking one-off originals will be crafted lovingly by hand in Idar-Oberstein/Germany. This town in Rhineland Palatinate is well-known as the home of Fissler, the international leaders and experts in cookware, and has, for centuries, enjoyed a global reputation in the design of precious stones and jewellery for the most exclusive clientele all around the world.
